Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination, 2016 (Descriptive paper) on 09.07.2017 for recruitment to the post of Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant/Court Clerk/DEO/LDC.
Based on the cut-off fixed by the Commission, following candiates were qualified for Data Entry Skill Test/Typing Test
5,766 candidates have qualified (provisionally) for Skill Test for the post of DEO in C&AG
344 candidates have qualified (provisionally) for Skill Test for the post of DEO in Departments other than C&AG
41,326 have qualified (provisionally) for Typing Test for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant/ LDC/Court Clerk

QUALIFIED FOR DEO-OTHER THAN CAG
The Schedule of the skill/Type Test will be intimated shortly. The schedule for holding the Data Entry Skill Test/Typing Test on computer will be available on Commission’s Regional Offices website shortly.
Note;
(i) Document verification will be done at the time of conduct of Skill Test/ Typing Test. The options given for preferences of posts in the application form will be treated as final.
(ii) All the candidates (including OH candidates seeking exemption inTyping Test) are required to appear in document verification.
(iii) Only candidates possessing EQ for the post of DEO in C&AG (i.e.12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent) are required to appear for DEST for this post.

SSC CHSL Result 2016: Vital Details
Written Exam Result: SSC will announce the CHSL Tier-1 written exam result for those candidates who have cleared the same.
Final Result: SSC will announce the CHSL final result for candidates who clear the skill test / typing test. Appointment letters will be issued to finally selected candidates.

Candidates need to follow the following procedure to check their SSC CHSL Result:
Firstly, candidates have to click on the direct link provide above.
After downloading the CHSL result PDF file, check your roll number in that “PDF” using “Ctrl + F”.
If your roll number is there in that PDF, you are selected, if not you are rejected.
Skill Test / Typing Test:
Typing Test: Candidates, who are opting English typing, should have typing speed of 35 words per minute and those candidates who are opting Hindi typing should have typing speed of 30 words per minute. Typing test will be applicable for Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, LDC and Court Clerk posts.
Skill Test: Data Entry Speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour on computer. Skill test will be applicable only for Data Entry Operator post.
