☛Recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in Different States and Union Territories
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) notified on 30th Dec 2016, to fill approx. 8,300 vacancies of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in different States and UTs under its 9 Regional Offices. 
Out of these maximum vacancies (3,186) fall under the SSC Northern Region Office. These vacancies are further reserved as 1,071 for OBC, 179 for SC and 205 for ST, leaving the rest for general category candidates.
The Staff Selection Commission is making recruitment to the posts of Multi Tasking Staff in Pay Band-1( 5200 to 20200/-) + Grade Pay 1800/-,(Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level 01) a General Central Service Group C, Non Gazetted, Non Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States / Union Territories. The Commission proposes to hold a Common Examination for all applicants for posts in different States / UTs.

MTS examination will be conducted as Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams. SSC MTS Tier 1 examination is scheduled to be held on April 30, May 14 & 28 and June 4 & 11, in two shifts – 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 4 pm. 

While Tier 2 exam (descriptive) is tentatively scheduled for December 17, 2017. 

The Tier 1 exam will carry 150 marks distributed among four sections:

General Intelligence & Reasoning – 25 questions
Numerical Aptitude – 25 questions
General English – 50 questions
General Awareness – 50 questions

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the examination will be required to appear for a descriptive type qualifying paper for testing basic language skills.

Eligibility Criteria for Multi Tasking Staff Exam

Age Limit: The age Limit is 18 to 25 years.

Educational Qualification:

☛Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination OR equivalent from a recognized Board.
