(i) Deputy Manager (Law) Grade- MMGS-II
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online written test and interview.
The test will be conducted tentatively on 11.11.2017. The call letter of test will be uploaded on Bank's website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters.

*Qualifying in nature and marks thereon will not be reckoned for arriving at the Merit list.
Test will be held on-line. If number of applications is less, Bank reserves the right to consider selection of the candidate(s) through shortlisting and interview, instead of test & interview.
a) Except Professional Knowledge (PK) paper, other papers will be of qualifying in nature. Candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks in these papers. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
The questions will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English. The candidates will have option to answer the questions in Hindi or English (except for test of English Language).
b) To be eligible for being short-listed for interview, candidates have to score equal to or above the cut-off marks to be decided by the Bank for the PK test, besides scoring equal to or above the Minimum qualifying marks in
other tests.
c) Candidates must secure equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks (to be decided by the Bank) in interview to be considered for selection. In the interview, the candidate can opt for Hindi also.
Interview :
Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview. The qualifying marks in Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
Merit List :
for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in PK test and interview.
(ii) Deputy General Manager (Law), Grade- TEGS-VI
Selection will be based on shortlisting and personal interview. Adequate
number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted, based on their qualification, experience and overall suitability, for interview. The qualifying marks in interviews will be decided by the Bank. Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the Interview only Note:- In case more than one candidate score the cut-off marks[common marks at cut-off point], such candidate will be ranked according to their age in descending order, both in select list as well as in wait list (if maintained).
Selection Procedure for SBI SO Exam 2017
Candidates will select by written examination and interview. After commencement of exam, the result will issue within one month. Merit list will also be issued by marks obtained in the written exam.

Exam Pattern
Exam Pattern will include the computer based test. Objective type Multi Choice Questions will ask. Total 135 minutes will be provided to attempt the examination out of which 45 minutes will be provided to attempt questions from professional subjects.
There will be a little bit change in the exam pattern as per the change in a department of Specialist Officer posts.
Exam Pattern for Law Officer:
Reasoning: 70 questions for 70 marks
English Language: 50 questions for 50 marks
Professional Knowledge: 50 questions for 100 marks
Exam pattern for Assistant Manager(System):
Reasoning: 50 questions of 50 marks
Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions of 35 marks
English Language: 35 questions of 35 marks
Professional Knowledge: 50 questions for 100 marks
