Main Exam

The SBI PO main exam pattern is divided into 2 stages.
Objective Test
Descriptive Test

Descriptive Test Pattern:

This SBI PO Descriptive Test will know the writing skills of the candidates.
The duration of SBI PO Descriptive Test is 30 minutes and will be of 50 marks.
The SBI PO Descriptive test will be of Letter Writing and Essay in English Language.
SBI PO descriptive tests are only for those applicants who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and they are rank high as per total marks in Objective Test.

Negative Marking

In SBI PO exam there will be negative marking of 1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer from the total score.
Focus on Speed In SBI PO main exam, there are [100] questions to solve in [60] minutes. So candidates must work on speed to solve questions in allotted time.
Syllabus Awareness When aspirants start preparing for SBI PO exam, they must have a clear idea about the aptitude questions asked in SBI PO exam.
Calculation SBI PO aptitude questions need more time in calculation, so candidates have to manage time for answering question and shortlist aptitude questions according to their merit.

Letter Writing

Informal Letter: Writing letters to friends, relatives, parents, siblings
Formal Letter: Writing Letter to Bank Managers, News Editors, Govt Department Officers.
