SBI PO 2017 Selection Procedure
SBI PO selection procedure has 3 steps which is mention below:
Step 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) (100 Marks)
Step 2: Main Examination (Objective Type – 200 Marks) (Descriptive Type – 50 Marks)
Step 3: Group Discussion & Interview (50 Marks)
 

SBI PO Exam Pattern Syllabus 2017
SBI PO Exam Pattern Syllabus 2017: Candidates must be aware about SBI PO exam pattern & Syllabus for good preparation. The SBI PO Prelims exam consist 3 sections which are (1) English Language, (2) Quantitative Aptitude & (3) Reasoning Ability and Mains exam consists 4 sections which are (1) Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, (2) Data Analysis and Interpretation, (3) General/ Economics/ Banking Awareness and (4) English Language. SBI PO Selection Procedure 2017    
SBI PO selection procedure has 3 steps which is mention below:    
Step 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type- 100 Questions) (100 Marks)    
Step 2: Main Examination (Objective Type – 200 Marks) (Descriptive Type – 50 Marks)    
Step 3: Group Discussion & Interview (50 Marks)    
 

SBI PO Exam Pattern: Preliminary Examination 2017    
Preliminary examination is an objective type exam.    
Total marks of the exam are 100.    
Exam would be conducted online.    
Duration of Exam would be 1 hour.    
Prelims exam consist of 3 sections such as (1) English Language, (2) Quantitative Aptitude and (3) Reasoning Ability.    
There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SBI PO Exam Pattern: Main Examination 2017    
The main examination of SBI PO is divided into two categories:    
1. Objective Paper    
2. Descriptive Paper    
Objective Paper:    
Objective paper for 200 marks.    
Exam would be conducted online.    
Exam duration would be 3 hours consisting of 4 sections such as (1) Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, (2) Data Analysis and Interpretation, (3) General Economics & Banking Awareness and (4) English Language.    
There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.  

Summary: Objective Paper    

Descriptive Paper:
Exam would be conducted online.
Exam duration would be 30 minutes.
Descriptive paper for 50 marks.
Test will be about English language (Letter & Essay Writing).
Immediately after completion of objective paper, descriptive paper will be start.
 

SBI PO Exam Pattern: GD & Interview 2017
Those candidates who qualify the main exam will be called for the GD/Interview Round.
Group Discussion will carry 20 marks and Interview 30 marks.
Note: The marks obtained in the preliminary examination will not be added for the final selection, the marks obtained in main examination & GD/Interview will be added only, on the basis of main exam & GD/Interview, final merit list would be prepared.
